Sprint Direct Connect - Our next generation of push-to-talk

Sprint® Direct Connect® takes push-to-talk to a new level. You’ll get the great capabilities you’ve come to rely upon from Sprint — including group calling and interoperable one-to-one connection (Group Connect is not interoperable) — plus a few new and improved features:

• Guaranteed Talk Permit - When you hear the Chirp^SM alert, you’re connected.
• Call Alert with Text - Send an audio alert with an optional text message to let someone know you’re trying to reach them, and why.
• Availability Notification - Find out if someone is available — and if not, be notified when they are.

Plus, we're on target to deliver an expanded coverage footprint and Land Mobile Radio interoperability in early 2012, and international services in the first half of 2012.
