I loved this phone when I first got it, I love the slide out keyboard! I love that it's not too heavy and slips in and out of my pocket too. What I don't like? The screen freezes up on a regular basis, and I have to take the battery out of it and hard start it. I am almost positive that can't be good for the phone. I don't like that sometimes when you try to activate a program on it, it takes FOREVER to get it to load, and the second it's ready to go, a dialog box appears and says that there is a problem. Ya think? Another thing this goofy phone does? When the phone rings, you slide over the green arrow, right? Well, it only slides across half way and then goes back to original position. Sometimes, it takes several attempts to get the arrow all the way across and by then your caller has decided to either hang up or leave a message after the tone. The message goes a little something like this: I was going to invite to you come along with us, but I guess you don't want to answer your phone, Maybe next time huh? URRRRGGGGGGGGGG Keep your dinosaur phone or splurge and treat yourself to a phone that's going to work for you!ROQUE1949attributes

This phone has been a nightmare to use, people call me and the swipe feature doesn't work, so I can't answer the phone. It calls random people when sitting on the counter, it locks up frequently despite having reset and reset and reset the battery as well as return to factory mode. Only have a couple of apps and it apparently is too many. My daughter has the same phone with the same problems, as does a friend of mine. DO NOT BUY!4658061attributes

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is responsible for receiving the safety information and forwarding the alerts to participating wireless carriers such as Sprint. Alerts can come from the President of the United States, the National Weather Service (NWS) or state and local emergency operations centers. This system is integrated with the national alert system that serves television and radio stations today.

The keyboard on the Samsung Transform Ultra could rise a little higher, and camera quality could be improved.
Folks looking for a phone with a QWERTY keyboard will find in the Samsung Transform Ultra a reliable midtier device, though $20 more could nab you an even better phone.
